The owners, management and staff of Chocorua Camping Village KOA would like to thank you for your patronage and assistance during these challenging times. We will be opening May 1st as allowed by State of New Hampshire Emergency Order 27, and/or recommendations by KOA, CDC, WHO, and our camping associates at ARVC (Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds), and NeHaCa (New Hampshire Campground Owners Association).
We, as a family owned and operated essential outdoor hospitality business, are requesting your help and compliance to keep our campground safe from the spread of Covid-19. Please look over the following information and use these policies to keep you, your family, and our staff healthy and safe.
- The office will be open shortened hours and will be operated out of the window to reduce contact.
- Any questions or wood delivery requests can be made by calling the office, (603) 323 – 8536 to reduce direct contact.
- Our public spaces including the Rec Hall, Game Room, Pavilion, and Playgrounds and Pool will be closed temporarily to promote guidelines of social distancing and mitigation of gatherings of more than 10 people. These areas will re-open as is allowed by State of NH.
- CSA (large Playground restrooms) will be closed until further notice.
- CSB (restroom by Store) and laundry will be open for one guest at a time.
- Bathrooms and Laundry will be posted with hygiene and social distance guidelines with hand sanitization stations at entrance.
- The store will be open reduced hours on a one guest at a time basis, social distanced from store attendant.
- Store purchases and delivery to site will be available by phone (603) 323 – 6188 with credit card.
- We ask that camping guests, lodging guests, seasonals, and children remain on their site, to mitigate spread of Covid-19, to adhere to guidelines of social distancing, and to follow the stay- at home order for NH that is in place until May 4th, 2020. This may change depending on future Emergency Orders from NH Governor.
- We ask that all guests maintain social distancing at least 6 feet from other guests, friends and staff members.
- Please do not invite neighbors or friends to your site to reduce likelihood of having a gathering of more than 10 people.
- The nature trails, dog park, and boat launch area will be available for campers’ use. Please follow social distancing guidelines as well as hand sanitizing.
- Will be prepared packets of activities to do at site, and on nature trails. The packets may consist of pages to color with provided crayons or markers, crafts, eye spy hunts, and nature related activities.
- Online social media posting activities, web scavenger hunts, and group games set up for camping kids.
- Packets will be prepared with mask and gloves on for guest assurance and staff health.
- Trail walks will be encouraged with social distancing.
