Is coming up quick. If you haven’t done so already, register to be included. Dates are 5/12/22 – 5/15/22. This is Jerry & Barb’s last year hosting the event. They deserve a big Thank You for all the work they’ve put in. We wish them well.

Spring Fling 2021
Mark your calendars! Spring Fling 2021 is scheduled for Thursday, May 13 through Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Chocorua Village Campground.
Spring Fling 2020 is Cancelled
Gerry made a herculean effort to hold the event but the governor of New Hampshire ordered that campgrounds may only serve New Hampshire residents and private members. This order prevents a number of Flingers from attending so the event has been cancelled. Flingers who are New Hampshire residents are welcome to enjoy the weekend at Chocorua Camping Village but unfortunately the Spring Fling won’t happen this year. Looking forward to the 2021 Spring Fling!

April 7th Update
As of April 7 campgrounds in New Hampshire are allowed to open on May 1st. Gerry is in touch with the campground manager every week. At this time the Rally is still go however the events will be very limited if social distancing guidelines are still in place.
We understand that some Flingers may be reluctant to attend this year given the current situation. Anyone who has a reservation and wants to cancel can call the office at 603-323-8563, to get the options, set forth by KOA, of a refund or a change of date for their stay at Chocorua Camping Village KOA
Spring Fling Rally Update
Talked to the Campground manager yesterday and he told me the campground will be opening as schedule and therefor we are still slated for the Rally on the 14th.
He told me that he has read the directive set forth from KOA and is now getting things set up with staff on how it will all be implemented.
Anyone who doesn’t feel comfortable coming to the Rally and has already reserved a site is directed to call the office at 603-323-8536 and talk to the office manager and he should be able to direct you in how to get a full refund or what ever.
As said the Rally schedule will be thrown out the window if at that time the virus is still running rampant.
I will still be cooking chicken for all but the POT-LUCK may or may not be able to be held as a social event and you can pick up your chicken to eat at your campsite.
Along with other events scheduled, we’ll have to wait and see what the New Hampshire CDC is recommending at that time but ultimately it is YOU to decide if you still want to join in the 2020 Spring Fling in New England Rally.

Gerry
Busy Getting Ready
Busy as a bee getting things all lined up for the Rally. Making wood projects to give away and lining up people to do some of the events and squeezing them in a time slot.
Last year Sandy “O” couldn’t do the Paint Class as they were moving into their new house but this year she said she will be doing it and again for a minimal fee (for materials) you can paint yourself a painting representing the Spring Fling Rally.
Also make sure you join in the fun time at the Camp-Game tri-athalon, where we will play 3 abbreviated games to see who is king or queen of games.
Jane and John looking forward to seeing you again in May. As you know its such a fun time when we all get together.
Wayne, looking forward to meeting new friends I am sure you’ll walk away knowing you’ve had a special experience at a Rally not to be forgotten.
You Host
